On Amoris Laetitia

Loving our neighbor requires ministering to his or her wounds, and sin wounds the human heart worse than poverty, disability, the loneliness of single life, or any other hardship. It distances the human heart from the grace, wisdom, and healing of its Creator, the Shepherd who wants to tend that heart. Church teaching conveys God’s mercy by warning us away from the thing that would harm us the most.
